Education costs: tuition fees for international students vary across cities and programs, and depend on the education provider, the level of study chosen, and the study location. Extra course costs can include learning materials, and clothing or equipment such as work safety boots or a laboratory coat.

Visa financial requirement: the Department of Home Affairs sets the money a student must show for a student visa (see the Student visa subclass 500 document checklist tool). Actual living costs vary around Australia and may be much higher than the visa minimum.
